Neb the Thing

Ok, this is meant to be silly and not have a real point to it. It is, after all, Neb the thing.

Front/back (make 2) 

Ch 13.   

Row 1­ Sc in second ch from hook. Sc across. Turn (12) 

Row 2­ Ch 1. Sc2tog once, sc 8, sc2tog. Turn. (10)

Row 3­ Ch 1. Sc across. Turn. (10) 

Row 4­ Ch 1. Sc2tog once, sc 6, sc2tog. Turn. (8) 

Row 5­ Ch 1. Sc across. Turn. (8) 

Row 6­ Ch 1. Sc2tog once, sc 4, sc2tog. Turn. (6) 

Row 7­ Ch 1. Sc across. Turn. (6) 

Row 8­ Ch 1. Sc2tog once, sc 2, sc2tog. Turn. (4) 

Row 9­ Ch 1. Sc across. Turn. (4) 

Row 10­ Ch 1. Sc2tog twice. Turn. (2) 

Row 11­ Ch 1. Sc2tog. Fasten off.    

Embroider eyes and mouth onto one side. If you are feeling extra creative, you can embroider a  happy face on one side and a  sad or mad face on the other.  Sew two sides together,  while  also stuffing it. It should look like a puffed up tortilla chip.   

Ear Thingies    

Join a different colored yarn to a corner of Neb’s body. 

Ch 26.   

Row 1­ Dc in second ch from hook. Dc in next two chains, 2 dc in next ch. [3 dc, two dc in next  st] across. Sl st in the corner of Neb’s body, fasten off. Sew in all loose tails. Do this on other  corner, except on other corner, chain 30.
